Market Pulse Car Awards

The lives of Delhiites almost came to a standstill with the Auto Expo. Everywhere you went, people were discussing cars and models (models of cars we mean) and models (the non-vehicular kind) and cars!

Keeping the Car Crazy Indian in mind, Market Pulse decided to hold its own “Car-Mazing” Awards!!!!!!

The Most Masculine Car:

The Car-Mazing Award for the most Masculine car goes to Maruti Suzuki Swift (25%). Maruti drove away with all the positions in this category with Wagon R (10%) emerging as the first runner up and Maruti Dzire (8%) the second runner up!

The Most Feminine Car:

The Car-Mazing Award for the most Feminine car goes to Chevrolet Beat (14%). This compact car beat first runner up Hyundai i10 (12%) and Maruti Suzuki Alto (10%) by a small margin!

The Cutest Looking Car:

All cars were primed and primped, ready to receive this award, but the real winners of the Car-Mazing Cutest Car award are Nissan Sunny and Maruti Suzuki Swift tying in at 9% each. Hyundai i20 (8%) takes the award for first runner up and Hyundai i10 (7%) gets second runner up.

The Sportiest Car:

The moment of truth has come as cars wait with bated breaths (or exhaust pipes) for this coveted award. The winner of the Car-Mazing Sportiest Car award is Maruti Suzuki Gypsy sweeping the awards with a whopping 21%! Parking in on second position is Volkswagen Polo (9%) followed by Skoda Fabia (8%).

The Most Rugged Looking Car:

We asked car lovers to tell us what they think is the most rugged looking car and the clear winner for this award is Volkswagen Polo (11%). First runner up is Maruti Alto (9%) and second runner up Tata Indica (7%).

The Rich Man’s Car:

There is a popular saying which goes “Boys will be boys… all that ever changes is the price of their toys”… the Car-Mazing Award for the Rich Man’s Car goes to Skoda Fabia (19%)! Nissan Sunny (13%) is hot on its wheels as first runner up followed closely by Volkswagen Polo (12%.

Most Innovative Car:

The Car-Mazing award for the most innovative car goes to Nissan Sunny (8%) with Nissam Micra (7%) breaking closely for first runner up. Hyundai Accent and Volkswagen Polo (6% each) share the podium for second runner up.

Most Luxurious Car:

The Car-Mazing award for the most luxurious award is a tie between Nissan Sunny and Skoda Fabia (13% each). The first runner up is Volkswagen Polo (10%).

Technologically Advanced Car:

The Car-Mazing award for the most technologically advanced car goes to Skoda Fabia (13%) with Maruti Suzuki Swift (9%) pulling in at first runner up and Hyundai i20 (8%) winning second runner up.
